The History of Fornost Erain

 

Fornost Erain is a medieval warfare simulation group. We use padded weapons to safely engage in realistic hand-to-hand and missile combat consistent with the Middle Ages. Fornost Erain was started this year by people who had previously fought with foam fighting style weapons. The group was started by Ohtar I’ Astald. 

The name Fornost Erain comes from the writings of J.R.R Tolkien. Fornost Erain is the name given to the northern stronghold of the Numenoreans in the Second Age. It means Norbury of the Kings
